Screw Plug Heaters

Screw Plug heaters from Zenun Industries consist of hairpin tubular elements that are brazed or welded into a machined pipe thread fitting, which are then screwed directly through a threaded coupling in the tank wall or vessel, or installed in pipe. Screw plug heaters are an easy way to heat up solutions in smaller containers that also require controls. Mechanical thermostats or Digital controllers can be used with these immersion heaters to help reach target temperatures with great accuracy meeting your project objectives.

Screw Plug heaters from Zenun Industries are used for heating gases and liquids in tanks or vessels. These elements are designed to be immersed in liquid so that heat transfer will occur at a rapid rate, enabling quick heat up times. Typical uses include the food and beverage industry, laboratory clinics, applications involving hydraulic oils and lubricants as well as more sophisticated uses such as heating up flammable liquids or gases which require explosion proof housing.

Tubular Heaters

Careful selection of raw materials and the strict quality standards regulating Zenun Industries processes guarantee our sheathed tubular elements top quality, reliability over time (even with very high specific temperatures and charges), chemical-mechanical strength and safety under all conditions.

In particular for the sheath, which must stand up to thermal and mechanical stress and corrosion, we offer a wide choice of standard diameters (6.25 to 16 mm) and materials: stainless steel, Incoloy, inconel, cronifer, carbon steel, copper, titanium or special materials.

Zenun Industries provides tubular heaters in a large range of power, voltages, lengths (300 to 8,000 mm) and shapes. We bend the elements into flat or three dimensional shapes that are the most suitable for customers’ applications: simple U shaped heating elements, serpentines, rectangular or spiral shapes, etc.

Sheathed tubular heating elements are extremely versatile and suitable for several applications and trades: energy, industrial processes, industrial machinery in general and machines for plastics, transport, air conditioning and domestic heating, catering, vending machines, professional washing and ironing machines and wellness.

Cartridge Heaters

Zenun Industries manufactures the most complete line of high density and low density cartridge heaters.  All products and specifications are computer designed utilizing precision winding allowing consistent quality and the flexibility to place the heat where it is needed.  Our Incoloy sheath provides protection from oxidation and corrosion.  These products are available from ¼” to 1” diameter and unlimited lengths and terminations.  The swaged construction of Zenun Industries High Density Cartridge provides a solid solution for your heating requirements.

Zenun Industries Low Density Cartridge Heater provides an economical solution for low temperature, non-abusive applications.  High purity Magnesium Oxide, Nickel-Chromium resistance wire and stainless steel sheath tubing allows longer heater life and better heat transfer for any process.
